The general had 7250 men.
After forming a solid square he found that he had 95 men over (extra). So (7250-95) = 7155 men.
In the options, 1002=10000 which is more than 7155, and also 502= 2500 is less than 7155. So the answer is none.
Special note: 7155 is not a solid square number.
